Dungeons & Dragons already reigns supreme over the world of tabletop games. Now, iconic imagery from the game is making its way to a new game. Ravensburger’s latest installment of the Horrified tabletop game series will feature iconic monsters from Dungeons & Dragons.
In Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons, players must work together to face off against monsters and puzzle-like obstacles as they gather item tokens, protect citizens, and avoid attacks. The game will feature four D&D monsters, including the Beholder, one of the OG enemies when D&D launched in 1974. In true D&D fashion, the game will also have gameplay using a d20. Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons is built for up to five players, so you may have to squeeze in an extra chair at the table.
This isn’t the first edition of Horrified to feature iconic monsters from our favorite brands. Horrified: Universal Monsters features appearances from Dracula, Frankenstein’s monster, Bride of Frankenstein, Wolf Man, Invisible Man, and more. There are also three other installments to the franchise, including Horrified: World of Monsters, Horrified: Greek Monsters, and Horrified: American Monsters
Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons will be available this summer for $29.99. Until the launch, we’ll just have to make do with our regular D&D game nights.
