Oh my God! Okay, it’s happening. Everybody stay calm. Stay f%$&*@ calm!
HBO has released the first trailer for the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, which features never-before-seen footage that gives fans their greatest glimpse of what’s to come.
The trailer opens with Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) running for her life.
“I know death, he’s got many faces. I look forward to seeing this one,” Arya says.
The clip also teases the series’ biggest battle to date, which is rumored to last nearly an entire episode. We see multiple armies preparing themselves for battle, as well Daenerys’ (Emilia Clarke) last remaining dragons, Drogon and Rhaegal.
The two-minute trailer ends with a horse — presumably belonging to the Night King — stepping toward Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen), Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie), and an entire Northern army.
I’m excited, but also terrified.
Game of Thrones returns for its final season on April 14.
