Fox is Letting Fans Own a Piece of The Sandlot for 25th Anniversary

Now you—yes you!—can own a piece of one of the most iconic movies ever.

To celebrate The Sandlot’s 25th anniversary, Fox Consumer Products is offering fans a collector’s capsule packed with dirt from the epic baseball field. Each capsule features an individually-numbered hologram seal.

Fans who want in on the limited-edition memorabilia can get it for free with a purchase from Shop.FoxMovies’ line of Sandlot merchandise, while supplies last. Although set in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley, scenes on the famous baseball diamond of The Sandlot were filmed in Salt Lake City. The field hosted a lot of memories, from Ham’s epic home run, to Smalls’ lost baseball by Babe Ruth, and The Beast.

The collector’s capsules release kicks off more celebrations for The Sandlot‘s anniversary, including a little league partnership with The Salt Lake Bees baseball team and a special screening of the film on the baseball field on August 11, featuring special cast appearances.
