Hang on to your remotes, ladies and gents: Awards season is barreling toward us. This morning, nominees for the 77th Golden Globe Awards, hosted by Ricky Gervais on Jan. 5 at the Beverly Hilton, were announced.

Tim Allen, Dakota Fanning, and Susan Kelechi Watson joined HFPA president Lorenzo Soria and others in announcing the nominees.
