What happens when a furry alien crash-lands his spaceship in a suburban garage? The family has no choice, but to do the right thing: name him ALF (short for Alien Life Form), and adopt him. And now, younger generations can meet him too!
Variety reports that a reboot of the ‘80s sitcom is in the early stages of development with Warner Bros. Television. The original show was created by Paul Fusco and Tom Patchett and had four seasons on NBC from 1986 to 1990.
Warner Bros. TV has not yet released any details, but rumor has it that one idea being toyed with is that ALF has been held captive in Area 51 since the original series finale and will be observing how things have changed since his escape.
If that’s the case, ALF is about to get smacked in the face with some culture shock when he hits 2018.
