Dancer Pavé in Animal Crossing: New Horizons | Source: Nintendo

While partying in real life isn’t possible, you can enjoy a virtual celebration on Animal Crossing!

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is getting a new free Viva Festivale! update for the Nintendo Switch, arriving tomorrow, Jan 28.

Bring the carnival spirit to your island with dancing and flying feathers! Starting on Feb 15, dancer Pavé will help usher in the party spirit. Players can collect the colorful, flying feathers they find around their island (especially the rare rainbow ones) to trade with Pavé for a funky dance number in return.

Players can also properly react to the festivities by purchasing the Viva Festival Reaction Set (using in-game Bells, of course), which will be available from the shelf at Nook’s Cranny for a limited time. Nothing to wear? Don’t worry; the Able Sisters shop will have new, festival-appropriate clothing for sale starting on Feb. 1.

A whole slew of seasonal items will be available at Nook Stop in Resident Services, too, just in time for Valentine’s Day. You can get some chocolate hearts or heart-shaped bouquets to spoil that one special resident you never want to leave your island.
