Holy Fortnite, Batman!

The caped crusader is heading to the world of Fortnite — Not on video game screens (which he’s already done), but in the pages of comics. DC and Epic Games are partnering for a 6-issue miniseries called Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point, which combines Batman and other DC heroes with elements of the popular battle royale game.

Each print issue of the series will include a code that players can redeem for bonus, DC-themed digital items in Fortnite. The items are inspired by the events of the comic, starting with the new Rebirth Harley Quinn outfit. Fans who redeem all six codes will also unlock a new Armored Batman Zero outfit.

In the series, a crack/tear in reality opens above Gotham City, pulling Batman into an unfamiliar world: Fortnite! As he fights to recall his past, the hero comes face-to-face with Renegade Raider, Fishstick, Bandolier, and more. Eventually, he will uncover the truth about the island, what is beyond The Loop, and how everything is connected to the mysterious Zero Point.

Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point will debut in comic book stores and on participating digital platforms on Tuesday, April 20. The remaining issues will ship twice monthly, on May 4, May 18, June 1, June 15, and July 6. Each issue will cost $4.99, or $5.99 for stock card variant cover versions. Those who subscribe to DC Universe Infinite will get the series for free, including the bonus digital codes.
