Holy podcast, Batman!
We finally have some details about that Spotify x DC/Warner Bros. podcast deal that the companies announced back in June.
The first podcast in this multi-year deal will be Batman Unburied, a narrative series developed and produced by David S. Goyer’s Phantom Four production company (in association with Warner Bros.‘ Blue Ribbon Content).
According to Goyer, who has a long history working with DC television series and feature films (Batman Begins, The Sandman, The Dark Knight trilogy, Man of Steel), the team will “be using the unique advantages of audio to dig into the more nightmarish members of the Dark Knight’s Rogues Gallery.”
For now, DC is keeping specifics about the podcast under wraps, but the official description of the show says that it will “explore the darker aspects of Bruce Wayne’s psychology.” DC also released cover art for the series, pictured above.
