Players compete to see who is the Mail Carrier of the Century | Source: Big Potato Games

Big Potato Games may be British, but the indie game maker has partnered with an iconic American institution for its latest tabletop offering.

In case you didn’t know, the United States Postal Service (USPS) offers a variety of licensed products, many of which are available from the online Postal Store. We’re talking wallets, beach towels, crop tops, and more. And now, Post Office enthusiasts can prove they would be the best mail carrier in town during game night. Revealed at this month’s Gen Con, Big Potato’s new USPS: The Great American Mail Race is an officially licensed game that replicates the strategy required to deliver mail across the country.

The game features USPS logos and artwork, a replica mail collection box stamper, and 13 official transportation methods — ranging from the pony express and mail trucks to a hot air balloon and a rocket. In the game, players take on the role of USPS workers on a mission to deliver mail to some of the most uniquely named towns in the U.S., including Jackpot, Booger Hole, and Whynot.

Each player plans their mail route using the various USPS transportation methods while watching out for rival carriers who may take their mail. You earn points in the game for successfully delivering mail across four U.S. regions. There are also bonus points for collecting postcards, same-day deliveries, hometown pickups, or delivering mail parcels without air transport. Throughout the game, players track their points using the included mail collection box stamper.

This game is designed for 2-4 players and is available now, exclusively at Target.
