Blizzard Entertainment is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. And for a company that’s created magical, fantastical worlds like Azeroth, what better way to celebrate than with treasure?
Today, Blizzard launched “From the Vault,” a monthly drop of limited, themed collectibles that will be available exclusively through Blizzard’s online store. The second Thursday of each month from now until November, there will be new merch related to one specific character or franchise. Along with the selection of collectibles, each drop will also include a concept art print that will only be available for 30 days.
Blizzard’s first vault drop focuses on World of Warcraft, and more specifically Lich King Arthas. A 26-inch premium statue of the King is for sale for $1,099.99. This month’s limited art print also features Arthas — specifically concept art of Prince Arthas — but that only costs $29.99. Along with the higher-end collectibles, the Blizzard Store has curated a selection of merch featuring other World of Warcraft favorites, including exclusive Funko Pop! figures, apparel, and a pop-up book.
