It may have been a while since you’ve thought about Build-A-Bear, but the custom teddy bear experience is still going strong — and it isn’t just for kids! In recent years, the company has launched plenty of fandom-fueled bears, for brands including Doctor Who, Friends, and Harry Potter.

Now, as part of Build-A-Bear’s ongoing 25th-anniversary celebration, there is a new, Force-filled bear who is sure to be a hit with collectors of all ages. The Build-A-Bear 25th Celebration Darth Vader Bear dropped today, and it blends a classic teddy bear design with this infamous Star Wars villain. The all-black bear is wearing Vader’s iconic helmet (with holes for its ears, of course), cape, and chest panel. The bear also has a 25th-anniversary emblem sewn onto its right paw pad and the Star Wars logo on its left foot.

This snuggly Vader is the latest style in an ongoing Build-A-Bear x Star Wars collection, which is available to shop at Build-A-Bear’s online Star Wars character shop.

According to a press release from Build-A-Bear, the Darth Vader bear is the first of many fan-favorite characters that the company will release for its anniversary. Fans can check out the official 25th Celebration webpage for the latest updates about these collectible plush.
