Call in sick to work because Ultraman Day is less than 24 hours away!

The classic superhero as first seen in the ’60s is making a comeback with new video games, comics, merch, and more. To celebrate its original premiere date, Tsuburaya Productions, Elevated Games, and Mill Creek Entertainment are sponsoring an ultra-event tomorrow.

Fans can tune in at 10 a.m. PDT to Shu.Watch to kick off the day with live artwork, giveaways, unboxing videos, and visits from special guests and celebrities.

During the four-hour live show, fans can catch a ton of live activations. The first actor to play Ultraman, Bin Furuya, will show off the *right* way to do the Spacium Beam — Ultraman’s super-signature move. The team behind the upcoming Marvel comic The Rise of Ultraman will make an appearance. Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski, Editor Tom Brevoort, and writers Kyle Higgins and Mat Groom, will discuss the comic which is meant to drop in September.

Marty Abrams of Mego Figures will host contests and drawings, as well as show off some special merchandise during unboxing videos — including an ultra-sneak peek of the Beta Capsule. The merch just keeps coming. At the event, the team will also launch the North America Ultraman Galaxy Store with an opportunity to get some exclusive July 10 collectibles featuring limited Ultraman designs and artwork.

Finally, fans will be able to catch an exclusive look at Mill Creek Entertainment’s The Birth Of Ultraman. Coming out on Blu-Ray, it features the series in its original Japanese, English dubbing, and includes rare footage of the Pre-Premiere Special, which took place on July 10, 1966.
