Earthworm Jim was named “Game of the Year” back in 1994, and the original team is coming back together to celebrate its 25th anniversary the best way they know: with a new game.

The game will be available exclusively on the upcoming Intellivision Amico home video game console.

Ten of the original Earthworm Jim programmers, artists, audio team members, and level designers working on the game will get together for a 20-minute interactive simulcast for fans. In addition to sharing their vision for the new game, the team will give away hand-drawn art from the game artists and 50 new, signed watercolor posters by Earthworm Jim creator Doug TenNapel.

Fans can watch the live event this Saturday, May 4, at noon PT on Facebook Live, YouTube Live, or TwitchTV.

The Intellivision Amico console is set to launch next October. The system will accommodate up to eight players and feature only games rated E (Everyone) or E10+.
