D23, the official Disney fan club, has a lot in store for next year.
The organization is ready to bring back a slate of in-person events for Disney fans all over the country, including the popular D23 Expo fan event, which was postponed last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As previously announced, the next D23 Expo will take place from Sept. 9-11 at the Anaheim Convention Center. At the event, attendees will get a first look at upcoming projects for Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, and more — including an early look at plans for The Walt Disney Company’s 100th-anniversary celebration (in 2023). Tickets for the event will go on sale starting on Jan. 20.
In addition to the expo, D23 has a variety of other in-person events in store for next year for D23 members, including a mixer at Star Wars Celebration; events to celebrate milestone anniversaries for Lilo & Stitch (20 years), Hercules (25 years), Aladdin (30 years), and The Muppet Christmas Carol (30 years); and previews of Walt Disney Archives traveling exhibitions across the country.
D23 Members can get additional information about events and ticketing at D23.com/events. Disney lovers who are interested in becoming D23 Members can head to the D23 website. It costs $99.99 for a single annual membership or $129.99 for a duo annual membership.
