Get ready to fuel your fandom, or rather your fandome, because DC just announced plans for a massive virtual event on August 22.

Called “FanDome,” this event is designed for fans of all aspects of the DC Multiverse, featuring announcements and updates from DC games, movies, series, and comics. In the absence of all major summer conventions, this is the opportunity to see exclusive footage and/or watch panels for The Batman, Doom Patrol, The Suicide Squad, Watchmen, Wonder Woman 1984, and many other fan-favorites.

Best of all, this 24-hour fan fest is 100% free to attend; no badges required!

The event’s virtual space will actually have six areas to explore. The main Hall of Heroes will have special programming, panels, and content reveals. This content will be available in several languages, including Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish.

Then, there are five satellite worlds, each with a different focus. DC WatchVerse will stream hours of DC content from around the world, including exclusive screenings of never-before-seen footage and behind-the-scenes content. DC YouVerse will be packed with fan-generated content — keep reading below to see how you can contribute! For the younger fans, there is DC KidsVerse, which will have family-friendly activations. Families can also access this world directly at dckidsfandome.com, to limit kids’ browsing ability. At DC InsiderVerse, fans can watch a video of DC executives giving an introduction to the DC Multiverse and go behind the scenes with artists and creators. Finally, the DC FunVerse will have digital shareables, a comic book reader, DIY kits for WW84 golden armor and a Batmobile, and an e-store filled with merch (including exclusives).

WOW. That is so much content, but that still isn’t all of it. Blerd & Boujee will also make a virtual return, following its debut at Comic-Con International: San Diego last year. The FanDome Blerd & Boujee House is a celebration of Black nerd culture and invites “Blerds, LatinxGeeks, and all nerds with ‘party-with-a-purpose’ vibes” to join.

Finally, cosplayers, creators, and fan artists can submit their work to be showcased as part of FanDome. Visit dcfandome.talenthouse.com to learn more about how to submit!

We’ll see you at the Hall of Heroes!
