Plenty of Warner Bros. favorites have gotten the orchestral treatment in recent years, including the Harry Potter movies, Game of Thrones, and The Lord of the Rings. Now, the on-screen DC universe is heading to the stage for the DC in Concert series, which will see DC movies played on screen while a full symphony performs the accompanying score.
Today, Warner Bros. revealed that the first movie in this series will be this year’s The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson and scored by Michael Giacchino. “The Batman in Concert” will debut in London at the Hammersmith Apollo on March 18, followed by four additional stops in Europe — Zurich, Switzerland; Paris, France; Berlin, Germany; and Dusseldorf, Germany. In the U.S., the concert will have four stops: the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles (April 15); the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C. (April 22); the James L. Knight Center in Miami (April 28); and the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago (May 6).
Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment is putting on this concert series in partnership with TCG Entertainment. It is the first show in the larger DC in Concert series, which is presented by MGP Live.
