Get ready to expand your Dungeons & Dragons universe with a new D&D gift set!

The D&D Rules Expansion Set is perfect for Dungeon Masters and D&D players who want to level up their gameplay. The set includes new printings of rule expansions Xanathar’s Guide to Everything and Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything. Despite already releasing two guides to everything, D&D is dropping its new expansion, Mordenkainen Presents: Monsters of the Multiverse in this launch. Monsters of the Multiverse collects, organizes, and edits new D&D material released after the launch of the fifth edition. All three books — plus a Dungeon Master’s screen — are packaged together in a slipcase.

Wizards of the Coast announced this expansion at the Future of D&D panel during last week’s D&D Celebration, which featured D&D Studio members and featured a walk-through of what’s changing in stat blocks in Monsters of the Multiverse. Monsters of the Multiverse contains more than 250 monster stat blocks and more than 30 playable character races from a multitude of sources, including Volo’s Guide to Monsters, The Tortle Package, and Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes.

Monsters of the Multiverse will also be available to purchase as a stand-alone when the gift set is released. Serious D&D players should note that although you can keep playing the game without it, a copy of Monsters of the Multiverse will be necessary to access all new and updated D&D content.

The D&D Rules Expansion Gift Set will be available for $169.95 starting on Jan. 25. Each of the three books and the Dungeon Master’s screen feature special foil covers that are only available in this release. You can find more information about this release here. Until then, you can check out all the videos from the D&D Celebration — including this panel — here on YouTube!
