The sophisticated world of Downton Abbey is about to be right under your nose — or rather, on top of it.

Eyewear designed to bring the ambiance of the British series is officially on the way from Bonavista Optics. The launch will begin with a limited release of two different syles of Premiere Sunglasses, both of which will be up for preorder soon. Later in the year, Bonavista will use the license to create an entire line of Downton Abbey sunglasses and prescription eyeglasses.

Each style of the exclusive sunglasses will be limited to 250 pairs and will cost $249. Handmade in London, the eyewear celebrates both 1916 and the roaring ‘20s. The 1916 pair features a round-shape glass, tortoiseshell rims, and the Downton Abbey symbol on the side in gold. Aristocrats looking for something more dapper can choose the 1920s Downton pair. The oval, sheer glasses feature dark green lenses and a champagne rim, with the golden symbol on the side.

Fans will have to keep an eye on Bonavista Optic’s website to preorder the limited-edition sunglasses. The full, officially licensed — and officially sophisticated — line will follow soon, with availability at participating optical stores and eye doctors’ offices within the year.
