Over the years, Funko has partnered up with various companies to offer exclusive, must-have pop culture collectibles. Now, the manufacturer is teaming up with eBay — which acquired a stake in Funko earlier this year — to launch a series of exclusive offerings.
The collaboration will offer Funko enthusiasts the chance to collect figures from all sorts of iconic fandoms, starting with the NBA. Notably, these will be new figures sold directly by eBay, not resales posted by collectors. The first exclusive figure in the collection is the 5-inch Funko Gold Kawhi Leonard premium vinyl figure. It features Leonard in his black-and-white Los Angeles Clippers City Edition uniform, is limited to 3,000 pieces, and costs $15.
Basketball fans can also add other 5-inch Funko Gold premium vinyl figures to their collection. eBay is offering Gold figures of LeBron James, Stephen Curry, James Harden, and more. These figures feature the players in their team uniforms, with a one-in-six chance for collectors to receive a chase variant of the player in an alternative uniform. Each figure costs $10, while the 12-inch LeBron James figure costs $25.
EBay is also offering a variety of classic Funko Pops! featuring players from the Los Angeles Lakers, the Chicago Bulls, the Denver Nuggets, and more. These figures depict the characters in various poses, from holding a basketball to preparing to dribble. The figures cost $12 each, while the 10-inch Michael Jordan Funko Pop! costs $40.
All of these NBA Funko collectibles are available to shop now on ebay.com. Collectors will want to hurry and add the exclusive Kawhi Leonard figure to their collection’s starting lineup before it sells out!
This is just the start of the Funko x eBay retail partnership. Next month, eBay will launch a Funko Pop! Train Villains collection, featuring the Evil Queen, Maleficent, Captain Hook, Ursula, and Cruella de Vil.
