Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, has been revealed as the newest Monster High Skullector Doll from Mattel Creations, set to release on Jan. 13.
The nationally-syndicated horror hostess will arrive just in time for Friday the 13th. Elvira comes after the near-instant sellout releases of previous Skullector Dolls, including Universal’s The Bride of Frankenstein and Dracula, and Warner Brothers Pictures’ Beetlejuice and Lydia, Pennywise, the Grady Twins, and Greta Gremlin.
This Mistress of the Dark doll wears a shimmering gown with a spiderweb and skullette print. A dramatic peekaboo slit in the dress displays her nylons and spider stilettos. Intricate details, such as the spiderwebbing in her irises, her iconic stylized hair, and her black painted nails, complete the killer look. The Queen of Halloween’s accessories include silver snake earrings, her signature dagger belt, and her magic ruby ring from Great-Aunt Morgana.
With displayable packaging and a black Monster High doll stand, the glamorous Elvira doll will make a stunning display. The box opens up to reveal a spooky setting, complete with an image of Elvira’s poodle.
Elvira will be sold for $65, but beware! She could sell out scary fast.
