Big things are coming to Disney theme parks as of late. Toy Story Land opened at Walt Disney World, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is opening at Disneyland this fall and Disney World this summer, and almost all the Disney parks have plans to add Avengers– and Marvel-themed rides as part of the Avengers Initiative. Now there is some exciting news for the LGBTQ community: Disneyland Paris is about to become the first Disney theme park to host an official Pride event with the debut of the Magical Pride Party.
“Live your best life and shine with the joy of diversity at Magical Pride, a dazzling party lighting up Disneyland Paris on 01 June 2019,” Disney’s website reads. “Dress like a dream, feel fabulous and experience Walt Disney Studios Park like never before — loud, proud and alive with all the colours of the rainbow.” Anyone planning to attend can sign up in advance here.
Guests can choose from a Magical Pride ticket for $107.64 per person or a Magical Pride Plus ticket for $131.83 per person. The lower cost option includes access to a selection of open attractions, Disney character encounters, the Magical March of Diversity Parade, DJ moments and special live performances, a karaoke theater experience, and themed photo locations at the Walt Disney Studios from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. on June 1. The Plus ticket includes all of that, plus early access to both Disneyland Paris parks starting at 4 p.m. on June 1. The prices are the same for kids and adults.
