After last year’s successful mounting of Carrie: The Musical at Riverdale High, it seems no amount of cults, jail time, and gangs can stop the drama club from another showstopping performance.

The CW announced they are planning a second musical episode of Riverdale, coming this spring, during Season 3. Chapter Fifty-One will be called “Big Fun,” as the cast prepares to belt out nine tunes from the cult musical hit, Heathers: The Musical, based on the 1988 film.

“Last year, we had a blast doing Carrie. This year, we wanted to honor another iconic teen movie. Heathers: The Musical is BIG FUN, with great roles for the Riverdale kids,” executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa says in a statement. “And everyone is singing…”

To announce the news, Aguirre-Sacasa tweeted an image of the official cast list for Heathers: The Musical.

The musical, sponsored by Polly and Alice’s new cult, The Farm, will include most of the show’s cast. Jughead (Cole Sprouse) will not participate in the show, much like last year, but considering the Serpent’s new gig working security for Veronica Lodge, his head-of-security status for the show makes sense. Not to mention necessary, based on the actions during the play last year with Midge and the Black Hood.

Cheryl Blossom, Veronica Lodge, and Betty Cooper will take on the iconic roles of the three Heathers in the show’s musical, while Josie will play Veronica Sawyer, and loyal Serpent Sweet Pea takes on the role of leading man Jason “J.D.” Dean. Reggie Mantle, Fangs Fogarty, Toni Topaz, Kevin Keller, and Evelyn Evernever round out the cast. And, if Wednesday night’s cliffhanger ending gave you pause about Archie Andrews’ future on the teen drama, rest assured things are looking up for Archiekins, as his name appears on the cast list as well, and his initials appear to be written besides his casting, seemingly indicating he is alive and well, and has accepted his part. Phew!

The musical episode airs on March 20 on The CW.
