far from home

Usually, a movie’s second trailer doesn’t get quite as much hype as its first. But that wasn’t the case for Spider-Man: Far From Home.

The movie’s teaser trailer, released back in January, became Sony’s most-watched trailer with 130 million views in its first 24 hours. Then the full trailer, which the studio dropped this Monday, broke that record with 135.2 million views.

It makes sense that this trailer had more hype, considering Far From Home‘s connections to the wildly popular Avengers: Endgame (which, of course, holds the all-time record for trailer views with 289 million views in 24 hours).

Far From Home, the second Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland, swings into theaters nationwide on July 2. Tickets are on sale now.
