Express your pride… Star Wars style!
Pride month is fast approaching and merch-makers are making sure there are plenty of goodies for those that want to show their LGBTQ+ pride in June while they flaunt their fandom. Funko is — of course — getting in on the celebration, offering a new limited edition bundle featuring a BB-8 Loungefly backpack and Pop! figure.
The backpack has BB-8 looking bolder and brighter than ever, combining the droid’s design with the colors of the rainbow. The matching Pop! figure also gives the charming little droid a rainbow makeover, with the addition of glitter. This Bobble-Head Pop! will happily nod along to any Pride parade’s music.
The 4,000-piece bundle is only available while supplies last, so fans will want to act quickly. This collection is a part of Funko’s Pops! with Purpose program, a series of collectibles that benefit positive causes with their sales. The BB-8 bundle is no exception, with proceeds going to the It Gets Better Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to encouraging and connecting queer youth. For every backpack and figure bundle sold, Funko will donate $65 to the organization.
