Funko Pop! brings aaaall the nostalgia in a new batch of collectibles inspired by retro toys from Hasbro and Mattel.
Barbie obviously wins everything with three figures based on a few of her 10 million careers. Peaches ‘N Cream Barbie, Rockstar Barbie, and Day-to-Night Barbie make up her current Funko-fied wardrobe. Each figure is based on a still-cherished variant of the collectible doll from the ’80s.
Fans who want something a little less pink (but why?) can unbox the Hasbro collectibles instead. Glo-Worm can be your own personal night-light as it glows in the dark, Stretch Armstrong grows into your collection with a long-armed chase variant, and Cavity Sam, well, is just straight-up adorable.
In the Hasbro line, fans can also find Mr. Potato Head, a G.I. Joe Shipwreck figure, and a G.I. Joe Zartan figure. In addition to the regular-sized Pop! figures, each Hasbro character can be revealed from a blind box which contains mini collectibles in different forms. There are a total of 12 to be discovered.
Those looking to thoroughly expand their collection can find the figures available for presale at Hot Topic and GameStop to be shipped between September or October. Flocked versions of the Monopoly Man, My Pet Monster, and Mr. Potato Head, as well as a disfigured Mr. Potato Head figure, will be exclusive to Target, but aren’t available online just yet.
