Get ready, Funatics — a new version of funko.com is officially live.
With the changes to the site, which launched last week, collectors are now able to purchase from both Funko and Loungefly in one shared shopping cart. Order histories for both brands are located in one place under one account. Furthermore, the company has improved security with the addition of two-factor authentication for account setup. This feature is intended to combat bot shoppers and make high-demand product releases a fairer experience for every shopper. Pop! Yourself digital avatars — profile photos that are customizable versions of Pop! figures — also got a 3D upgrade.
In addition to these changes, funko.com also adopted a few additional, previously unannounced upgrades. While shipping used to be free for orders of $100 or more, it is now available on orders within the contiguous United States for $50 or more, regardless of the products ordered. For orders below $50, the flat rate shipping fees are now unified across the board. Within the contiguous U.S. that rate is $6.95, while outside the contiguous U.S. it is $14.95. Self-service returns are now possible for orders placed today, March 7, and later. Lastly, the time window for processing returns has been extended to 30 days after delivery.
