Han Solo himself — Harrison Ford — has joined the cast of the upcoming animated movie The Secret Life of Pets 2.Â
This marks his first foray in voicing an animated character, and the pet he voices (a large dog named Rooster) is peak Harrison Ford.
Illumination, the studio behind both Secret Life of Pets movies, released the “Rooster Trailer” today to announce Ford’s casting. He opens the trailer, growling and introducing himself. Then he doesn’t appear again until near the end of the trailer, when we see he’s a no-nonsense pup who is living on a farm and is clearly not here for any of the city pups’ emotional baggage.

The movie hits theaters on June 7, and Ford joins a cast including Kevin Hart, Jenny Slate, Tiffany Haddish, Nick Kroll, Ellie Kemper, and many more.
