No, you’re not dreaming. We could be getting new content from the iconic wizarding franchise soon — and no, don’t worry, we aren’t talking about another Fantastic Beasts movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, sources confirm that executives at HBO Max have been meeting with writers to make a Harry Potter live-action TV series a reality on the WarnerMedia streaming service.

Apparently, the studio is still searching for writers and a pitch to continue the beloved book series-turned-movie-franchise-turned-global-brand, so there is currently no talent tied to the project (original cast please!) or a plot to announce yet. Prequel? Sequel? Entirely different story with new characters studying at Hogwarts? Sounds like we’ll have to wait and see.
