The Battle of All Times rages on — all the way to The Pop Insider’s New York Comic Con (NYCC) booth No. 1137.
This past week, Hasbro and Avalon Hill announced the return of the fan-favorite game Heroscape at Pulse Con, and we’ve got a first look of it at our booth.
Heroscape: Age of Annihilation is the new installment of the expandable miniature wargaming system. It includes 71 detailed miniatures that players can use to create their own worlds. Build up battlefields with the modular tiles, then play out battles between factions that are not only from Earth, but also from other planets across the galaxy. The game includes 20 game scenarios that are specially created for Age of Annihilation — but every part is backward- and forward-compatible.
The games expandable, hex-based modular tile terrain system comes with 74 base pieces in addition to 68 wall terrain pieces and nine jungle terrain pieces to build multilevel landscapes. Players can play as five original factions, including the Dryan Lifeborne Order, the Nemesis War Brood, the Dawn Raider Syndicate, the Clockwork Combine, or the Ironclad Collective. They can customize their armies as well — each figure is given a point value, so battle strategy is truly in players’ hands.
The game, priced at $249.99, has a HasLab backing campaign for a minimum of 8,000 preorders by Nov. 15 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
Stop by The Pop Insider’s booth at NYCC (No. 1137) to check out an up-close look at the game. And if you want to help make this game a reality, you can back Heroscape: Age of Annihilation at hasbropulse.com.
