Did you really think Yo Joe June was going to conclude without Snake Eyes special announcements?
Well, like the Arashikage warrior himself, Hasbro Pulse went undercover today for a Snake Eyes: Declassified livestream event. Host Khleo Thomas revealed a lineup of products — including figures, apparel, and accessories — for fans to feel the Snake Eyes hype in time for the movie’s theatrical release on July 23.
The main highlight of the event was the Snake Eyes: Deadgame Action Figure ($149.99, pictured above) from Threezero. Based on comic artist Rob Liefeld’s interpretation, the 1:6-scale collectible has 22 points of articulation and includes a full loadout of accessories: a pistol, uzi, tactical knife, two katanas, three smoke grenades, three stun grenades, and four pairs of interchangeable hands. A wave of Snake Eyes action figures and vehicle sets also just dropped at Entertainment Earth. The 6-inch, articulated figures include characters such as Storm Shadow, Baroness, Scarlett Action, and more. They come individually packaged with accessories or in bundle cases. For instance, the G.I. Joe Snake Eyes Movie 6-Inch Action Figures Wave 1 Case ($79.99) comes with 8 individually packaged action figures: three Snake Eyes, two Storm Shadow, a Baroness, and two Snake Eyes 2 (talk about seeing double!). Some vehicles include the Snake Eyes Movie Core Ninja Snake Eyes Vehicle ($22.99) and the Snake Eyes Movie Core Ninja Storm Shadow Vehicle ($22.99), both of which pair with any 6-inch G.I. Joe action figure. Fans can pre-order these sets here.
During the livestream, Thomas revealed that new apparel featuring the Snake Eyes movie poster art by John Guydo will be exclusively available today at Hot Topic. Disguise is also releasing a whole line of Snake Eyes costumes and accessories for cosplayers — including masks, gloves, throwing stars, and swords — to channel the swiftness and stealth of an Arashikage operative. These items will be available on Amazon in September.
Snake Eyes will also be dropping into virtual territory with new game updates and releases. GameMill Entertainment will be releasing a premium version of its game G.I. Joe: Operation Blackout with a Gold Edition, which will include weapons, character skins, a digital artbook, and the movie soundtrack. The game will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch starting on July 20. The mobile game G.I. Joe: War on Cobra is getting a 2.0 update on July 20 as well, which will feature full base customization, a new base and units, a changing world map, and new opportunities to duke it out in a Snake Eyes ninja-themed event. The game is available to download on the App Store and Google Play.
