Star Wars fans got an exclusive sneak peek of new products during a fanstream hosted by the Hasbro Star Wars team yesterday.
The 14 new products revealed on the livestream include action figures from Hasbro’s Retro Collection, the Black Series, and the Vintage Collection, as well as a premium Scout Trooper helmet.
The figure from the Retro Collection is a Mandalorian prototype inspired by the original 1970s Kenner Star Wars collection. The 3.75-inch figure features a vibrant pop of color with five points of articulation and beautifully rendered retro packaging. The bounty hunter will be available exclusively at Target for $14.99 this spring.
The five items from the Black Series include four action figures — Darth Vader (Revenge of the Jedi), Ki-Adi Mundi, Rebel Trooper (Endor), and Phase II Clone Commander Jesse — as well as the Scout Trooper helmet.
Inspired by the poster for the original working title of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, the 6-inch Darth Vader (Revenge of the Jedi) action figure features multiple points of articulation and the villain’s iconic red lightsaber. Darth Vader will be available exclusively at Star Wars Celebration for $33.99.
The Black Series Ki-Adi Mundi figure is also 6 inches and inspired by Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. This figure is fully articulated and has premium details, such as Ki’s enlarged conical cranium and blue lightsaber. Ki-Adi Mundi will be available in spring of next year at fan channel retailers.
The Rebel Trooper from Endor is inspired by the character’s appearance in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. This 6-inch figure has multiple points of articulation and comes with four accessories, including an alternate face plate. The Rebel Trooper (Endor) will be available this summer at Hasbro Pulse and most major retailers for $33.99.
The last figure from the Black Series is Phase II Clone Commander Jesse. This 6-inch figure is inspired by the character in Star Wars: The Clone Wars just in time for the animated series’ 20th anniversary. The action figure features Jesse’s Galactic Republic face tattoo and comes with four accessories, including an alternate face plate. Phase II Clone Commander Jesse will be available for preorder this March as part of Walmart’s Collector Con and on shelves this summer for $27.99.
The electronic Scout Trooper helmet provides Star Wars fans and collectors with a premium role-play model inspired by Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Its features include realistic deco and an electronic voice distortion effect. The helmet will be available this summer at Hasbro Pulse and most major retailers for $131.99.
The new products from the Vintage Collection include seven action figures — Darth Vader (Death Star II), Han Solo, Weequay, Clone Captain Howzer, Phase II Clone Trooper, Admiral Piett, and Starkiller — as well as the Phase II Clone Trooper Multipack. These action figures are all 3.75-inch scale and come with various accessories, including blasters and lightsabers. They will be available this summer at Hasbro Pulse and most major retailers for $16.99 each.
Lastly, the Phase II Clone Trooper Multipack features four 3.75-inch-scale Clone Troopers in detailed uniforms with six accessories. The packaging is inspired by the original Kenner line, with a special 20th anniversary logo on it. The multipack will be available this summer at Hasbro Pulse and shopDisney for $55.99.
