There are so many things to love about the ‘60s and ‘70s, from hippies and disco to colorful bell bottoms. To celebrate that decade of love, artist and Def Jam Records founding Creative Director Cey Adams is blasting us all to the past with a Hot Wheels collaboration.

Today, Oct. 3, Adams is debuting a 5-foot, 3-D sculpture created with catalogs, ads, and other printed Hot Wheels archive materials from the ‘60s and ‘70s, as part of  his current art exhibition, “Departure – 40 Years of Art and Design.” This isn’t Adams’ first crack at Hot Wheels art, either. In 2014, the artist put his own spin on the Hot Wheels logo for a canvas piece.

This time, though, the collaboration is expanding beyond the art gallery. To celebrate Adam’s latest Hot Wheels work, Mattel Creations is dropping a limited-edition die-cast Hot Wheels van inspired by Adams’ popular “Love” murals. This white van has the word “love” in red, white, and blue pop art on both sides, with beams of color radiating from it. The back doors to the van feature Adams’ signature and there is artistic detailing on the hood. The van’s packaging features the same eye-popping artwork and includes Adams’ bio on the back. Each die-cast van also comes with a certificate of authenticity.
