As if there were ever any doubts, Incredibles 2 continues to do incredibly at the box office.

Incredibles 2 surpassed the revenue of the first movie because when you put out a movie 14 years after the OG, you’re going to get three generations of both new and nostalgic fans excited to be immersed in a cherished world again. The sequel grossed more than $10 million more than the original, with the current earnings coming in at around $646.8 million.

Taking inflation into consideration, the movie grossed $439.7 million compared to the OG’s $384.9 million, which is still a significant rise. Additionally, the film only trailed behind Black Panther and Infinity War opening weekends so far this year, and its $180 million opening weekend marks the strongest animated opening weekend of all time.
