The next Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair Drop is being invaded by Walkers!
This Sunday, Wizards of the Coast will launch a super-limited drop of crossover cards inspired by the AMC series The Walking Dead. The Oct. 4 launch coincides with AMC’s “We Are The Walking Dead Weekend” event. Part of this event is a special episode of Talking Dead at 11 p.m. ET on Oct. 4, where fans can get a special look at the Magic: The Gathering cards. Then, preorders for the set will open at 11:30 p.m. on secretlair.wizards.com.
The full set costs $49.99 and includes all-premium-foil cards inspired by characters from the show. The cards have never been seen before in Magic: The Gathering and bring unique gameplay and text different from any other printed cards, which will only be legal in Legacy, Vintage, and Commander.
Preorders will only be open until Oct. 12, so fans have to act fast if they want this limited-edition set!
