Where would we be without the Avengers in our lives?
Since 1963, the Avengers have been saving the world — not only on the page, but also in the most expansive film franchise in the world. Now, Marvel is launching a year-long celebration for the Avengers’ 60th anniversary.
The highlight of the year is the new Avengers comic book series dropping in May. The series follows Captain Marvel as she leads some of Marvel’s most iconic heroes, including Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Black Panther, Scarlet Witch, and Vision. Through the storyline, our heroes face The Tribulation Events, a new danger who comes to the Avengers seeming like a friend. The series is written by Jed MacKay and illustrated by C.F. Villa.
As the year goes on, Marvel will also drop tons of new merch for the occasion, including apparel, collectibles, toys, accessories, home decor, party items, live experiences, and more. For the little heroes in your life, Marvel is also dropping two short-form video series on its YouTube channel: Marvel’s Avengers: Stunt Squad and Marvel Mech Strike: Mechasaurs.
