We often say that “you’re gonna need to clear some space on your shelf,” but when it comes to Mattel‘s new Masters of the Universe collection, you’re really gonna have to clear some space on your shelf!

Following a behind-closed-doors preview at the Spielwarenmesse international trade fair in Nuremberg, Germany earlier this year, the 2023 Masters of the Universe (MOTU) product line has been unleashed to the masses. As previously confirmed by our sister publication, The Toy Book, the line is anchored by the 1980s-inspired MOTU Origins Snake Mountain Playset that will hit retail this fall.

Mattel’s full range includes a whopping 31 SKUs spanning the retro-inspired MOTU Origins line of 5.5-inch scale figures, vehicles, and playsets, AND the collector-focused, Masterverse line of 7-inch scale action figures. But let’s get real here: whether this stuff is geared toward kids or collectors, you’re going to want ALL of it!

The MOTU 2023 product line will be available at a variety of mass and specialty retailers with availability dates staggered from spring through fall. Select items are now available to preorder from Entertainment Earth and other retailers.
