It’s hard to boil down 100 years of media history into four collectibles, but McFarlane Toys did it.
Warner Bros. is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and merch makers are all getting in on the action, McFarlane Toys’ Movie Maniacs WB100 figures are the latest additions to the year-long festivities. After teasing the relaunch of Movie Maniacs during last year’s Comic-Con International: San Diego, McFarlane officially revealed them today as part of its ongoing Winter Showcase event. The line includes four characters to emphasize the company’s history: the Wicked Witch of the West, Bugs Bunny, Harry Potter, and Ted Lasso.
These 6-inch-scale figures are highly detailed and feature a background and display base that put them into the scene. The Ted Lasso figure is standing on a patch of turf and is standing under the lights of the AFC Richmond stadium. The Harry Potter figure is posed on stones and has Hogwarts looming behind him. The Wicked Witch of the West is taking the yellow brick road as she walks through Munchkinland. Finally, the Bugs Bunny figure is dressed in a Superman costume as he stands in a garden eating carrots with a cartoon background. Each figure also comes in special WB 100th-anniversary window-box packaging and features an art card and a hidden surprise!
All four figures are limited to 10,000 pieces and are currently available for preorder. They are scheduled to ship on April 15.
