The Capcom Mega Man video game franchise lives on with a new animated TV series, Comic-Con exclusives, and consumer products launch. YAAAS.

Beginning Aug. 5, Mega Man: Fully Charged will air every Sunday on Cartoon Network in the U.S, and will make its Canadian debut on DHX Television’s Family Channel in the fall. Man of Action Entertainment serve as executive producers and story editors on the series.

Oh, but a TV series isn’t the only thing coming our way. In addition to the series’ launch on Cartoon Network and Family Channel, episode trailers and feature clips for the series will be available on DHX Media’s YouTube-based kids’ network WildBrain.

Let’s not forget the most important thing: Merch, merch merch!

International Comic-Con: San Diego (SDCC) attendees will be the first to get a peek at the new series during the Mega Man: Fully Charged panel on Friday, July 20, from 6 to 7 p.m. The panel features an exclusive episode premiere from the series, as well as special guests, including Man of Action Entertainment’s Joe Casey and Steven T. Seagle. Other Mega Man: Fully Charged SDCC highlights include exclusive artwork signing, event exclusive merchandise made available from Toynami, and limited edition artwork by pop artist Jose Emroca Flores.

When the post-SDCC blues set in, there’s a silver lining on the horizon thanks to a master toy partnership with Jakks Pacific for a line that will launch next spring. The collection will include EPIC action figures, figurines, play sets, accessories, role-play items, and everyday dress-up and Halloween costumes.
