NECA clearly has some Turtle Power, because the collectibles company is expanding its popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) line with a new character: Miyamoto Usagi.

The company has partnered with award-winning creator Stan Sakai to license the comic book series Usagi Yojimbo, which stars Miyamoto Usagi and follows the story of the rabbit rōnin in Edo-era Japan.

The character has also appeared in a wide variety of TMNT content over the years as a friend of the turtles, including the TMNT comics, video games, and animated series.

In addition to the news that Usagi will join its TMNT lineup, NECA shared a prototype sculpt of the character (pictured top). At this time, NECA has not provided any details about the release date for the Miyamoto Usagi figure.

However, fans can shop NECA’s existing line of TMNT collectibles, which are available at Walmart, Target, NECA’s online store, and local comic book shops.
