Become the NBA all-star of your friend group with Monopoly Prizm: NBA Edition. The game, which Hasbro announced last month, has officially hit store shelves as a Target exclusive.
Hasbro and Panini USA have teamed up to give sports and game lovers a new Monopoly experience that includes collecting iconic Prizm trading cards. In the game, you can draft NBA players to build your own basketball team and compete as you make your way around the board. Players will use the cards — which feature fan-favorite NBA players’ ratings and stats — to take control of spaces (or games in this version) and then collect bonus points when opponents land on them.
Complete with slam dunk contests and playmaker challenges, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to earn additional points and score some buckets in this crossover version of a classic game.
If you’re hoping to expand your draft pool in the game, you can also get the new Monopoly Prizm: NBA Trading Cards Booster Box. Sold separately, this set comes with 24 additional trading cards designed to give you more options when trading players to create the best team in the league.
Monopoly Prizm: NBA Edition and the Monopoly Prizm: NBA Trading Cards Booster Box are currently available for purchase at Target. The booster card is selling fast but is still available in-store at some locations. Fans can also expect a wider release of Monopoly Prizm: NBA Edition in August.
