This E.T. action figure is heartwarming — and not just because of that endearing smile.

At Comic-Con International: San Diego, NECA unveiled its E.T. 40th Anniversary 7-inch Scale Action Figure- Deluxe Ultimate E.T. with LED Chest (hats off to NECA for coming up with maybe the world’s longest product name).

Fans will be delighted to hear that the collectible figure is worthy of such a long title. Just like in Spielberg’s classic film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, the beloved alien’s heart glows red.

Standing about 4.5 inches tall, the fully articulated figure is posable and includes interchangeable necks and multiple pairs of hands. It also comes complete with some iconic accessories inspired by the film, including the umbrella-turned-communicator device and a potted plant.

In celebration of the film’s 40th anniversary, the adorable little lifeform comes packaged in a special window box complete with an opening front flap featuring tons of nostalgic imagery.

Priced at $42.99, the Ultimate figure is available now for preorder, and is expected to arrive in November. This little guy is definitely one to phone home about.
