Have you ever dreamed of decorating your home with a four-legged transport and combat vehicle? If your answer is yes, congratulations, you’re a certified Star Wars super-fan. If your answer is no, the latest launch in LEGO’s Ultimate Collector Series might just change your mind.
The LEGO Star Wars AT-AT set is a model of the All Terrain Armored Transport that first appeared in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. Replicating the massive size of the Imperial weapon that destroyed Echo Base, the LEGO model measures 24.5 inches high, 27 inches long, and 9.5 inches wide. It’s comprised of 6,785 pieces that include a movable head, spinning guns, adjustable legs, and side panels that open to reveal detailed interiors.
The set additionally comes with accessories that allow for interactive movement. Fans can recreate the iconic rebellion defeat with Luke Skywalker, General Veers, and Snowtrooper Commander minifigures. The set also comes with two AT-AT drivers and four Snowtrooper minifigures. If you’re already an owner of Stormtrooper minifigures, you’re in luck, because this model is big enough to store 40 of them inside! To give fans a fully immersive experience, LEGO engineers have packaged the set in a series of four boxes that display imagery from the Battle of Hoth scene from the movie.
The expansive detail of the LEGO AT-AT set comes at a pretty lofty price — $799.99 to be exact. But, as any Star Wars fan knows, dreams pass in time, and this might be a dream you can’t let pass you by. Launching on Nov. 26, the AT-AT set will be available for purchase in LEGO stores and at lego.com/star-wars.
