Five years have passed since the launch of Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) Fifth Edition, and there’s been no shortage of D&D fandom action! If you’re looking for a new way to boast your love for the franchise, check out the D&D Sapphire Anniversary Dice Set, which will be available from Wizards of the Coast at 11 a.m. (PT) on Nov. 21. The dice set commemorates the five-year anniversary of the fifth edition’s release and 45 years of D&D since the original publication in 1974.

The D&D Sapphire Anniversary Dice Set includes 11 custom-designed aluminum dice, a high-quality dice box and matching dice tray displaying the ampersand, fifth-edition D&D stats and details introducing the sapphire dragon, commemorative stickers, and a sequentially numbered collector’s card confirming the set’s authenticity. Embedded in one of the infamous D20 dice is a sapphire rock gnome artificer in a workshop brimming with magical clutter. Every die, except the imposing D20, has an engraved ampersand on the highest number — adding extra cred to your D&D love whenever you roll max damage.

“When the D&D team realized the sapphire is the traditional anniversary stone for both five years and 45 years, and that adding a laboratory-created sapphire to a 20-sided die wouldn’t jeopardize the integrity of a roll, we couldn’t pass up the chance to make something really cool to celebrate the milestones” says Nathan Stewart, vice president of the Dungeons and Dragons franchise at Wizards of the Coast. “The team put together a fun product for our fans that includes art and newly updated stats for sapphire dragons, making these classic dragons ready for play in your next D&D session.”

Only 1,974 D&D Sapphire Anniversary Dice Sets will be available, so mark Nov. 21 on your favorite Forgotten Realm calendar so you don’t miss out! These dice sets are available exclusively from Wizards of the Coast for $299.99.
