Her Universe, known for its quirky, pop culture-infused clothing, is launching a new Star Wars collection at Chicago’s Star Wars Celebration this week. It’s doubly fitting, as Her Universe founder Ashley Eckstein plays the voice of Ahsoka Tano in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. The Sisters of the Force capsule collection includes dresses, shirts, hoodies, jackets, and capes inspired by the women of Star Wars, including Leia, Rey, Padmé, and Ahsoka.
Here’s a look at some of the new pieces.
This piece was resurrected from the Her Universe vault and is back by popular demand. “It was our most popular shirt when we first launched,” Eckstein tells starwars.com. “That shirt hasn’t been available for over 5 years. But people still request it because their first shirt is worn out or they’re a newer Her Universe fan.”
Her Universe went with a unisex cut for the Rey piece.
This black-on-black T-shirt has a Star Wars logo on the front and a quote from Star Wars: The Clone Wars on the back.
This flowy, chiffon dress is inspired by Padmé’s lake house dress, and it also comes in a matching hoodie for everyday wear.
This unisex pullover was designed by Lucasfilm’s Daniel Kennedy and incorporates Ahsoka’s lekku markings.
This windbreaker was also designed with Ahsoka in mind. “Not only is it a nod to Ahsoka, but also kind of a nod to cosplayers,” Eckstein tells starwars.com.
Leia’s Cape Coat
This textured, jacquard cape coat was inspired by Leia Organa and features a rebel symbol on the back and a metal nameplate on the front.
Rose Tico Army Jacket
This jacket was inspired by Rose’s jumpsuit, with a fleece hood and an embroidered patch to match her necklace.
Holdo’s dress was based on Admiral Holdo’s lavender dress, with a looser fit, a shorter cut, and pockets.
Sabine Pleather Moto Jacket
This look was inspired by Sabine’s first-season armor, with nods to the Mandalorian artist’s handiwork.
Eckstein asked Vanessa Marshall, the voice of Hera, to choose her favorite quote from her character for this pullover. She went with, “We have hope.”
This shirt was inspired by a star map and has 27 characters represented as constellations across the galaxy. It also comes in a pullover style.
The Sisters of the Force collection will launch at Star Wars Celebration in Chicago and on heruniverse.com beginning on April 11.
