Today, IMDb.com launched Freedive, a video streaming channel featuring movies and TV shows.

The channel is ad-supported, which means the shows and movies will be offered for free (no paid subscription required), but will have ads throughout.

Freedive is up and running now, and it offers some classics: shows including The Bachelor, Heroes, and Without a Trace, as well as movies including The Last Samurai, Big Fish, St. Elmo’s Fire, and Drive.

There’s also a selection of IMDb original content, mostly news series covering pop culture and upcoming releases.

For now, Freedive is only available on IMDb.com and Amazon Fire TV devices. It will soon be available more widely, including on the IMDb app.

According to a press release from Amazon, which owns IMDb, the company plans to expand the service “based on customer feedback” and will continue adding new titles.
