Kellogg’s just turned your breakfast upside down by taking us back to 1985.

The breakfast food giant is releasing limited-edition 1985 Eggo boxes to celebrate the Fourth of July — along with the return of Netflix Original Stranger Things, although it isn’t stated on the legendary waffle’s main webpage. This definitely looks more fishy than eggy to me.

Kellogg’s is finally cashing in on its connection with the series through limited-edition packaging and creepy ads, but something curious really is happening. The Eggo main page makes blatant references to Stranger Things, but the show’s title and the streaming service’s name are nowhere to be seen. Also, the Eggo official Twitter account shared a promo post with a billboard from the fictional town of Hawkins, Idaho — not Indiana. Things really are getting strange.

Fans of the sci-fi series can stock up on all the retro Eggo boxes before July 4 on AmazonFresh or hunt down the boxes at select stores across the U.S. throughout July. They’ll be able to chow down like Eleven and all of her friends — and tell all those pesky Demogorgons to l’eggo their eggos — just in time for the premiere of Stranger Things 3, which begins streaming on Independence Day.

Then, fans can follow up breakfast by devouring the official Upside Down Whopper from Burger King and Baskin-RobbinsStranger Things Flavors of the Month while binge-watching all of season three.

Expect none of your pants to fit for the remainder of the season.
