New Wave has launched a new edition of the classic ‘80s arcade game Q*bert in its RepliCade line of 1:6-scale, fully functional arcade machine replicas!

This reproduction is called Q*bert x RepliCade Standard Edition and it is designed to look like the original game, which debuted in 1982. The collectible is approximately 11 inches tall and 4 inches wide and is detailed to look like the original full-sized game, down to the cabinet art and the metal coin slot (miniature coins included!). Players can play the original Q*bert arcade game on this machine, as well as the unreleased Q*bert sequel, Faster Harder More Challenging Q*bert

This miniature Q*bert game is controlled by a tiny, ball-top joystick and buttons and features original gameplay audio. It even has a knocker coil to replicate the mechanical thump noise when Q*bert falls off a square. The game comes in an equally ‘80s collector’s box that has an image of the arcade machine printed on the outside. The replica even has plug-and-play HDTV connectivity so retro game lovers can level up the Q*bert experience and play on the big screen! You can recharge the game system to play again and again and your high score will be saved, so you can try to beat your personal best or compete with friends.

This is the second Q*bert RepliCade from New Wave, following the now-sold-out Q*bert x RepliCade Warren Davis Edition, which was modeled after Q*bert creator Warren Davis’ preproduction prototype Q*bert machine.
