We may have to wait until next year, but Splatoon 3 is officially heading to the Nintendo Switch, leaving Inkopolis behind and taking players to a new region called the Splatlands. And while that is newsworthy on its own, it’s only one of more than 30 game announcements and updates from the latest Nintendo Direct, which clocked in at almost an hour.

Some of the other new game reveals from the livestream event included Mario Golf: Super Rush, the latest installment in the Mario Golf series, which is available to preorder now; Project Triangle Strategy (working title), a new strategy game from Square Enix that is scheduled for release next year; and Star Wars: Hunters, a squad-based, online multi-player game featuring favorite Star Wars characters and set in the time between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. Star Wars: Hunters will be available later this year. For those who love the classics, the new Capcom Arcade Stadium is available now, complete with co-op play. The title comes with 1943 – The Battle of Midway for free, but players can purchase additional game packs to expand their collection.

Some of the other announcements in this Nintendo Direct included popular games that are heading to the Switch system for the first time. This includes The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, which was originally released for the Wii system in 2011. This new, HD version will be available on July 16 and features enhanced graphics and smoother gameplay. Nintendo also plans to release a set of themed Joy-Con controllers alongside the game, inspired by the Hylian Shield and the Master Sword.

Two popular — but very different — battle royale-style games are also heading to Switch systems this year. First up is Apex Legends, starting on March 9. Then, this summer, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will bring the party to Switch (and Xbox) consoles.

A few existing Switch titles are getting noteworthy updates, too. Super Mario is coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons to continue its 35th-anniversary celebration, complete with Mario-inspired furniture and Warp Pipes that players can purchase in-game to decorate their islands. Nintendo also revealed the newest characters to join Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: Pyra/Mythra, Rex’s two-in-one ally from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. They will be part of the Fighters Pass Vol. 2, which will also include Min Min from the ARMS game, Steve & Alex from Minecraft, Sephiroth from the Final Fantasy series, and two additional fighters who have not been announced yet.
