As Marvel gears up for Black Widow’s origin film starring Scarlett Johansson, an actor straight out of Gilead joins the anticipated superhero flick.

O-T Fagbenle, currently starring as Offred/June’s husband Luke on Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale, has signed on for a leading role in the standalone Black Widow film, according to Deadline. No further character details about his starring role have been announced.

Starring opposite Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff, Fagbenle joins previously announced cast members David Harbour, Florence Pugh, and Rachel Weisz.

While no specific details on the film’s plot have been released, Black Widow will center on Romanoff’s origin story as a KGB spy assassin and her journey to become an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. and an Avenger. Production will reportedly begin this June in London.

While we’ll have to wait a while before seeing Fagbenle suit up opposite the fierce Natasha Romanoff, he will return to the third season of The Handmaid’s Tale on June 5.
