Get the tissues ready because Pixar is coming out with a new original movie, Onward, in 2020.
The studio shared the movie’s main cast yesterday on Twitter, including Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Octavia Spencer.

Dan Scanlon, who directed Monsters University, will direct.
Scanlon spoke about the movie’s plot at the 2017 D23 Expo, and it sounds like an emotional ride. Onward will follow “two teenage elf bothers whose father died when they were too young to remember him. But thanks to the little magic still left in the world, the boys embark on a quest that will allow them a chance to spend one last magical day with their father.”
It is likely that Pratt and Holland, who have both worked with Disney before in their roles as Marvel superheroes, will play the two elf brothers. So far, there are no details on what roles Louis-Dreyfus or Spencer will be.
The movie is slated for release on March 6, 2020.
